Extreme Solid Core Doors possess no less than sixteen layers of laminated veneered timber called Kerto®. This ensures the grain is not running in one direction. The grain direction can sometimes be a weak point of timber and can lead to warping, or splitting.
This makes the Extreme Solid Core doors range remarkably strong and vastly reduces the threat of a break-in occurring.
Automatically engage when Solid Core doors are closed, guaranteeing you robust compression. This ensure that drafts are kept out and also helps to keep your home out of the clutches of thieves.
Solid Core doors are finished in 22 fantastic colours.
Appropriately for a door with 16 layers of laminated timber, the Extreme Solid Core doors range includes 16 exclusive designs, and they can be finished in 22 fantastic colours. None of the 22 Colour variants requires painting of any description. These skins are laminated with coloured Renolit foil, which is the same foil used on the vast majority of UPVC windows and doors. The result is that the slab and frame are an exact material match.
