Providing our customers with a 20-year door guarantee is also a critical part of our Environmental Policy. By manufacturing doors that last for so long, it means that our customers do not have to regularly replace their doors, minimising any kind of overconsumption and damaging carbon emissions.

It is not every day that you go out and invest in a new door, and it requires a decent investment, which is why you should insist on having a 20-year door guarantee and nothing less. Over the years, the door will pay for itself many times over.

So, under your door guarantee, we have covered all the bit which make it function.

The slabs, regardless of material (UPVC, composite or aluminium) take the knocks of time, impacts from push bikes, parcels, suitcases and so many more scuffs and scrapes, which are not covered, but may be covered under your home accident cover.

The slabs themselves, especially in exposed positions need the locks engaging to stop the slabs from twisting and distorting, to do this, simply lift the handle whenever the door is closed – failing to follow this may result in the door warping and being drafty which is not covered under guarantee. We will however free of charge adjust the door as best we can to minimalise drafts.

All doors can be easily repainted, when required, if they fade over time due to environmental conditions, especially sunlight. Colour distortion and the varnishes are not covered by the 20 year door guarantee.

Door styles and manufacturers can disappear over time, so we may need to use replacement parts with the closest available match.

Please be assured, we want you to be happy with your door and we will look after you and it to the best of our ability, but doors do take the knocks of time.
