UPVC windows are usually less expensive than aluminium windows . UPVC is not as strong as aluminium so generally is thicker, slightly impeding your view. UPVC is thermally a better insulator than aluminium. Both products have significantly developed over the years and now the choice really does come down to personal preference, as all of our windows are warm and secure.
