Fixed Frame windows are available in both the Origin OW-70 Slimline and OW-80 Premium systems. The disadvantage of any opening window is the creation of a secondary frames to support the opening vents/sashes, doubling or more, the solid frame area, which unintentionally interrupts the view.

Fixed frame or picture windows are a non-opening window, which can give the impression of little or no window frame, just glass, more natural light and the view, and in most situations that’s all you desire.

Origin’s OW-80 Premium Sightline fixed frame to glass measurement is 65mm, with a maximum Height of 4,800mm (max area = 7sqm) by Width of 4,800mm (max area = 7sqm) available in Popular Colours of 7015M, 7016M, 7021M, 9005M, 9007M, 9910G, 9910M, 9910G/7016M (dual colour), Natural Oak and Golden Oak for fast delivery and other dual Colour Option, Georgian Bar Option and Colour-Coded Gaskets available.

The slimmest sightlines – Origin OW-70 Sightlines, the fixed frame to glass measurements, is 39mm* with a maximum Heigh of 2,200mm (max area = 4.8sqm) by  Width 2,200mm (max area = 4.8sqm) available in popular Colours of 7015M, 7016M, 7021M, 9005M, 9007M, 9910M, 9910G and 9910G/7016M (dual colour) for fast delivery, with Colour-Coded Gaskets and other Dual Colour Option plus flat trim used to create Georgian bar effects. U-Value as low as 1.2W/m2K and Security PAS 24:2016 as standard with Secured By Design. Backed by Origin’s guarantee of up to 20 years – Marine Environment – 10 years (frame) & 5 years (hardware).

*Please consider the render or finishing materials i.e. cladding thickness before selecting this option, in many locations 39mm is exceptionally thin.

Powder coated Aluminium for Less Maintenance...

Who wants time consuming maintenance and tricky painting, in fact throw away that paint brush because, Origins long life powder coated finish doesn’t need painting. Just a quick wipe with a soft, non-abrasive cloth or sponge soaked in warm water and a mild detergent is recommended (never scrub).

Origins premium aluminium retains its shape, hardly shrinking or expanding, in any weather, so little or no adjustment required. Origin OW-70 Slimline and OW-80 Premium Casement offer the perfect combination of strength and weight to allow for a slim visually pleasing frame.

When creating something as striking as a fixed window statement, the ability to choose the frame in almost any colour gives a lead over the competition which is unassailable. Origin OW-70 Slimline and OW-80 Premium are available in almost any colour, including striking black, snow white and all the contemporary greys. Origin manufacture in over 150 different RAL colours and come with a dual colour option (contrasting inside and out).

Origin’s range includes wood-grain colours. In order to give the Origin OW-70 Slimline and OW-80 Premium a flawless finish, Origin Aluminium is coated with the highest-grade powder available. Applied using an electrostatic process after a special pre-treatment, it is then cured at 200°C to form a robust coating that is tougher than conventional paint, whilst maintaining a completely smooth surface. Origin OW-70 Slimline and OW-80 Premium are resistant to scratches and are unlikely to fade.
