If you’re claiming a Barclays Greener Home Reward...
Barclays have updated their terms and conditions [PDF, 96.7kb] to make it simpler for you to claim your £500 Barclays Greener Home Reward towards new windows and doors.
If you have already applied for Barclays Greener Home Reward, you can still submit a claim online for your £500 reward on our windows and doors by visiting Barclays Greener Home Reward website.
What do you need to claim a Barclays Greener Home Reward?
You will need to meet these eligibility requirements and reward rules on the day you make your claim, as highlighted in Barclays Greener Home Reward terms and conditions [PDF, 96.7kb], to qualify for the reward. Claims may not be paid if you don’t meet all of these.
Eligibility requirements of Barclays Greener Home Reward include:
- Not be in breach of your Barclays mortgage conditions or have permission to let.
- All your Barclays payments need to be up to date
- With a 5 Star paid invoice for windows and doors dated within three months of your claim.
- You don’t need to borrow money or take out a loan to be eligible for the Barclays Greener Home Reward.
- The cost to you for the work, excluding any third-party contributions (such as a government grant), as shown on the 5 Star invoice needs to be equal to or more than the value of the Barclays Greener Home Reward for the completed windows and doors.
How to get your Barclays Greener Home Reward...
Step 1: Get your new windows and (or) doors fitted
- You’ll need a TRUSTMARK registered business to complete the installation on your property like 5 Star.
- Make sure you meet all eligibility requirements and reward rules before completing any home improvements.

Step 2: Claim your reward
Once the new windows and or doors are fitted, you can submit your claim form. Barclays will review your claim and if it is approved, they will send you an email with details on how to send your proof of work and payment documents.
You will have three months from the invoice or payment date to submit your claim for your Barclays Greener Home Reward.
If your claim is accepted, you’ll have one month to submit these documents.
Step 3: We’ll process your claim
Once you have submitted the documents, Barclays will finish processing your claim. Barclays might need to ask you for more information during this time.
Barclays pay the reward within four weeks of your claim being approved.
