Before the Project: Prep & Planning
Our first job will be to carry out an initial site survey, ahead of quoting you, so that we can encounter your home location and gather some preliminary learnings.
Confirmation of an order will see an appointment made for a full survey. This will be more exhaustive and involve the accurate recording of measurements, checking for any challenges that need overcoming etc.
At this point, we’ll have uncovered whether planning permission and building regulations approval is necessary. If it is, 5 Star will help you get it organised.
During the Project: All Systems Go
Arriving in their van, our fitters will get parked up and warmly greet you at the doorstep. Once invited inside, you’ll be given a rundown of the work schedule, with some last-minute checks made before they begin.
Safety will be obeyed at all installation stages to protect the welfare of everyone present and dust sheets put down on nearby surfaces to prevent them accumulating dust.
You’re welcome to stay at home whilst the team works and it’s good for you to be around in case you have questions or we need to ask you anything.
After the Project: Product Walkthrough & Aftercare
An opportunity for you to inspect your newly installed enhancement will be given prior to the fitters leaving and they’ll demonstrate the different features of it.
The 20-year guarantee will also be handed over and guidance on maintenance shared – details on product upkeep can be found in the following guide.
