Whatever your existing window configuration and style, your new Aluminium French casement options are varied – with two side openers you can choose an equal split (each side being the same size) or one side can have a larger opening vent, either the master or the slave. These are industry terms – the master is the vent that always opens first, and the slave opens next, taking the central vertical piece of frame with it. Aluminium is sturdier than UPVC or wood and is most probably your safest option if security is high on your wish list.

You can choose double, triple, or acoustic glass, along with both toughened and laminated options. 5 Star’s standard glazed unit features sound-reducing technology, amazing thermal performance and is filled with Argon, an inert insulating gas. However, if you would like to upgrade even further then our designers are happy to show you all options available.  If you are choosing glazing for a space you would like to keep private like a bathroom, toilet, or shower room and want the timeless elegance of a French Window with a glass pattern to obscure the view, a 5 Star Designer can help here too, and we do not charge for their time.
