Traditionally, white in and white out is the Extreme UPVC Casement Windows most popular colour choice. It is our biggest seller, and it is easy to understand why, it never goes out of fashion and looks fantastic in almost any home. However, we do offer a selection of other colours for those wanting something a little different with options including popular modern Greys, Irish Oak and Chartwell Green, amongst a whole host of other fantastic options. Please don’t forget, with all Extreme UPVC Casement Windows dual colour options are available - different inside to out.

There is more to glass than you might think...

You have glazing options to choose from when buying brand new windows, so make sure that you talk to a 5 Star designer before making your final decision. If you’re one of the many people purchasing new windows with the intention of lowering your energy bills, then talk to 5 Star about the options of double or triple glazing, and Argon filled units with black warm edged spacer bar, optimal Planitherm Total + coated glass and other thermally efficient options. If noise is an issue, consider acoustic glass options. If you live in a high crime area or are worried about break ins, then explore laminated and toughened glass. If it is a window in a bathroom or shower room explore the textured obscure glass options available to you. There is more to glass than you first thought.

UPVC bow and bay window conversions

UPVC Bow and Bay window conversions can be fitted to almost any flat window. This is done to improve the properties external appearance, let in more natural light and to give the visual appearance of a much larger room. Fitting a Bow or Bay window, where a flat window already featured, will need planning position when on the front of a property but not on the back or the sides. If a Bay and Bow window was already there, then planning would only be required on a listed property.
